DrainageNot sure which planter suits your plant? Here are our favorite combinations.
Best in: Fern Cylinder, Terra Pot
Pothos, string of pearls, trailing philodendron. The cylinder shape gives cascading vines room to drape beautifully.
Best in: Root Floor Planter, Moss Planter
Fiddle leaf fig, rubber plant, bird of paradise. Wide, stable bases support top-heavy plants. Always choose drainage.
Best in: Stone Bowl, Indigo Hanging
Echeveria, jade, small cacti. Shallow bowls work beautifully. Sealed planters okay — just water sparingly.
Best in: Indigo Hanging, Fern Cylinder
Boston fern, maidenhair, calathea. Sealed planters help retain moisture. Group together for a lush display.
All drainage planters include a matching saucer. Water freely — excess drains through the unglazed base. Place saucer on a felt pad to protect surfaces.
Fully glazed inside and out. No drainage hole — use a layer of pebbles at the bottom and water carefully. Best for low-water plants or as decorative cachepots.
Our stoneware is frost-resistant but not frost-proof. Bring planters indoors during hard freezes, or empty and store dry.
White mineral buildup is natural and shows the planter is doing its job. Wipe with diluted vinegar, or leave it — it adds character.
